Yes — every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans. From shaping the wooden structure to cutting and placing the shell, each process is done with care to ensure quality and longevity. That’s why no two boxes are exactly the same.

Nacre, also known as mother-of-pearl, is a natural material formed in mollusk shells. Our artisans inlay real nacre onto each box by hand, resulting in a shimmering surface that shifts with the light. Each pattern is unique and carries centuries of East Asian craftsmanship heritage.

We typically process all orders within 1–2 business days. For UK deliveries, we use Royal Mail Tracked 48 as standard, which usually arrives in 2–3 working days after dispatch. If you select Express or Special Delivery, your order may arrive next working day.

For international orders, delivery time varies by destination — typically 5–10 working days.

You’ll receive a tracking number once your parcel is shipped.

We hope you love your purchase, but if you're not completely satisfied, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.

- Items must be unused and in original packaging.
- We do not cover the cost of return shipping.
- Due to the handcrafted and delicate nature of our jewelry boxes, returns are only accepted if the item is in perfect, resaleable condition.
- Damaged returns or returns without original packaging will not be accepted.

- Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or damp areas, as humidity and UV light may damage the natural lacquer and shell finish.
- Gently dust with a soft, dry cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical sprays.
- Do not place heavy items on the lid or stack other objects on top.
- For long-term storage, keep the box in a dry, cool environment and ideally inside its original packaging.

With proper care, your box will remain a lasting heirloom.
